Abstract: As the condition of the Yellow River water became more and more polluted, exceptional difficulties were brought about to the Shengli Oilfield in the lower reaches of the Yellow River. The paper expatiated on the successful experiences of the Shengli Oilfield in treating water by adopting some measures as pre-oxidation, dissolved air flotation, enhanced coagulation and two-stage filtration to illustrate their feasibility.
